What it does
Revenue spread across the nights it belongs to
A four-night stay booked in one transaction is not four nights of revenue on the day of booking. It is one night of revenue on each of four dates, which is the only way a monthly figure means anything.
Occupancy against real capacity
The denominator is your active rooms less anything out of order. Closing a room for refurbishment does not quietly flatter your occupancy figure.
Where your business comes from
Direct against each channel, by revenue and by room nights, so you can see what a commission is actually buying you.
Cancellations with reasons
What was cancelled, when, by whom and why. Bookings that never completed payment are excluded — they never happened.
